Introduction

cove1 is an AI customer service system — a support agent that answers on every channel, grounded in your knowledge base, delivered by our team.

What cove1 is

cove1 is an AI customer service system. You design your support agent once, connect it to the channels your customers already use, ground it in your own knowledge, and run everything from a single console. It is delivered and tailored for your business, with deployment options that keep your conversations and data under your control.

The product is an AI customer-support agent. Support is where most teams feel the pressure first: the volume is high, the questions repeat, and the cost of a slow or wrong answer is a frustrated customer. cove1 gives that agent a place to live, a memory to draw on, and a clean path to a human when the conversation needs one.

The same building blocks — a visual canvas, a knowledge base, a shared console, channel connectors, and human handoff — are what let us tailor the agent to each industry's customer conversations, from property management maintenance triage to HOA governance questions.

The pieces

  • Canvas. Design agent behavior visually. Lay out how a conversation flows, when to search the knowledge base, when to call a tool, and when to hand off to a person. The canvas is the source of truth for what your agent does, so changes are explicit and reviewable rather than buried in prompts.
  • Knowledge base. Import documents, help-center articles, and internal references, then let the agent retrieve from them to answer with your facts instead of guesses. Update the source material and the agent's answers follow.
  • Console. One modern workspace for the whole team. Watch live conversations, jump in when needed, review history, and manage agents and channels from a single place. Human agents and AI agents share the same inbox rather than living in separate tools.
  • Channels. Connect the places your customers already reach you — web chat widget, email, and messaging channels — so one agent serves every surface. A conversation that starts in one channel keeps its context.
  • Handoff. When the agent hits its limits or a customer asks for a person, it hands the conversation to a human with the full thread intact. The transition is smooth in both directions: a human can hand back once the issue is resolved.

How it is built

cove1 is a small set of cooperating layers rather than a black box:

  • A conversation engine provides inboxes, channels, the agent workspace, and the shared history that the console is built around.
  • An agent runtime and knowledge base provide the visual flow behind the canvas and the retrieval that grounds answers in your content.
  • OpenAI-compatible models power the reasoning. cove1 talks to any provider that speaks the OpenAI API, and ships with DeepSeek as the default.

Every deployment is delivered by the cove1 team — managed cloud by default, with dedicated in-region deployments for enterprises with residency or compliance constraints. Either way, your conversations, knowledge, and model configuration are set up around your rules.

Next steps

  1. Quickstart — connect a channel, import knowledge, design your first agent, and go live.
  2. Concepts — the ideas behind canvas, knowledge, channels, and handoff, and how they fit together.
  3. Deployment — managed cloud vs. dedicated deployments, the architecture, and how a rollout works.
